On 3 September, the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) partnered with us for a seminar on technology and new economy landscape of the UK. Speakers shared on the UK’s latest developments and what can be offered to Hong Kong entrepreneurs.
In particular, the Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP) provided an all-rounded assistance package for global investors from networking to local talent-matching, advisory services on tax and business site-selection, along with numerous funding schemes including the DIT FinTech Awards 2019, in supporting outstanding start-ups.
As a partner of the event, the AYF brought in members from various industries, including representatives from universities, HKSTP and students, as well as tech startup owners and other friends who shared the same interest in exploring the future.
