The Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation (AYF) is proud to announce its recent partnership with the ReThink Foundation, which recognise our commitment to youth development and sustainable talent cultivation in the social impact sector through the development of the D-Generation Impact Novice programme (DGen programme).
The DGen programme is dedicated to supporting young people as they transition from education to employment. Participants are matched with various community practice projects that contribute meaningfully to local development, fostering skills and experiences that empower them for future success.
During the ReThink HK 2024 conference, AYF had the opportunity to showcase its innovative solutions and impactful stories to a wider audience. The event featured over 250 exhibitors, 500 speakers, and attracted 6,500 unique attendees, making it a significant gathering in the realm of sustainable development.
Kaur Navpreet, an alumna of the DGen program, shared her experience: “Attending the ReThink event was a memorable day. Seeing so many NGOs and corporates telling their stories and showcasing initiatives for Hong Kong was truly inspiring and heartwarming. Even though they were representing their own organizations, it felt like we were all working together to advance Hong Kong and make it a better place.”
“We are excited to collaborate with the ReThink Foundation to create more opportunities for youth engagement and community impact,” said Dan Cheung, the Co-Founder of the AYF, “By bringing together diverse voices and experiences, we can foster a stronger, more inclusive community.”
