The Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation (AYF) is pleased to support the Dragons in Malaysia Programme, reaffirming its commitment to advancing youth empowerment and cross-regional exchange. As a registered charity in Hong Kong focused on uplifting young leaders across Asia, AYF collaborates with initiatives like Dragons in Malaysia to create diverse opportunities for youth leadership, cross-cultural learning, and impactful social innovation.
Organised by the Dragon Charity Company Limited, the programme is supported by the Hong Kong Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission of the HKSAR government. It is designed to create a sustainable platform for connecting young ethnic Chinese leaders locally and internationally while promoting leadership, global perspective, and youth empowerment.
In 2023, a similar programme was organized by the AYF to foster regional youth development and cross-cultural exchange. The Future Impact Leaders Programme 2023 was a prestigious five-day youth exchange initiative that took place from November 8-12, 2023, bringing together 15 young leaders from Hong Kong for immersive experiences in Singapore and Malaysia.
Leveraging on the previous successful experience, through experiential workshops, guided cultural tours, and networking sessions, participants gain direct insights into Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, emerging technology trends, and entrepreneurial environment. Delegates return with broader perspectives on regional collaboration and stories to share within their local communities.
