AYF Influencer Dialogue: Learn about Mental Health in Hong Kong

Want to build up your social innovation project and co-create something meaningful for our community? AYF rolled out the Young Influencer Lab earlier this year as a pre-incubation and innovation training programme designed for aspirational changemakers to build up their project portfolio and accelerate their impact journey.

And last week, we were delighted to have Mr Michael Chan, the founder of Companion HK, and one of our Young Influencers, to share with us the work of his organisation.

COVID-19 has brought unprecedented challenges to our community, but it also led to new opportunities unique in this time. At our recent dialogue, Michael explained on how youth organisations can evolve and emerge stronger from the pandemic.

In sharing Companion HK’s effort to tackle social miss-perception on the mental and emotional disorders, we learnt from Michael about his views and experiences of running an NGO, and explored the solutions and opportunities in this challenging time. The sharing session was inspiringly guided by Mr Kennon Tam, AYF’s honorary advisor. Kennon is an experienced senior consultant of public affairs and stakeholder engagement in a multinational conglomerate.

Everyone enjoyed the conversation very much and are looking forward to meet again in upcoming activities! Stay tuned and stay healthy!
